The IU MBA Columbus program recently hosted its annual Etiquette Dinner and Awards Ceremony on April 25th to honor the achievements of the class of 2024. The event, which featured a mealtime etiquette lesson led by consultant Mary Starvaggi, was a celebration of the hard work and dedication of the MBA program participants.

Guests at the ceremony were treated to an inspiring speech by Columbus Mayor Mary Ferdon, who commended the students on their accomplishments and encouraged them to continue striving for success in their careers. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of several prestigious awards to members of the class of 2024.

Outstanding MBA Faculty was awarded to Kevin Jones, while the Community Partner Award went to the Greater Columbus Indiana Economic Development Corporation for their support of the program. Karen Torres and Saul Arce Mendez were recognized with the MBA Culture Award, Zachary Riley received the Outstanding MBA Student award, and Laura Moses-Wadsworth was honored with the First Year Leadership Award. Rina Alamo was the recipient of the Georgia Blair Miller Business Student Award.

These awards, which acknowledge excellence in academic achievement, leadership, community engagement, and commitment to the goals of graduate business education, represent the high standards and values upheld by the IU MBA Columbus program.
